Devon joined Kings III as a contract Senior Systems and Network Administrator in January 2026, became a full-time employee in March, and was promoted to Manager of Information Technology in June. He leads IT and cybersecurity for a growing national life-safety company of approximately 400 employees.

Selected outcomes:

- Created governance around IT and cybersecurity.
- Led the SOC 2 program through a successful Type I report.
- Designed a tiered server architecture and led server and privileged-credential migrations.
- Moved administrators to phishing-resistant authentication.
- Helped introduce conversational and agentic AI across the organization with governed adoption in mind.
- Leads a multidisciplinary systems, network, and help-desk team while planning for continued organizational growth.

## Previous leadership

### Sidney Health Center — Director of IT and Cybersecurity; Transition Advisor (2020–2026)

Devon led IT and cybersecurity for Sidney Health Center, chaired the HIPAA Committee, modernized critical infrastructure, and remained as a transition advisor through March 2026 after moving to Texas.

Selected outcomes and responsibilities:

- Implemented Arctic Wolf for SIEM, vulnerability management, and managed detection and response.
- Reduced known vulnerabilities by 80 percent.
- Led a VMware-to-Hyper-V migration in 2024.
- Implemented network access control with Cisco ISE.
- Supported more than 50 Cisco Catalyst 9300 access switches, Cisco core switching, Nexus data-center switching, and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Helped improve hospital cleanliness and quietness HCAHPS scores.
- Directed overnight recovery during the 2024 CrowdStrike outage, restoring operations before the next shift.

## Founder experience

### QuickMSP / Proactive Tech Wiz — Founder, Owner, and Technical Lead (2018–2025)

Devon founded QuickMSP in North Dakota in 2018. The company later merged with Gordon Tech Solutions to become Proactive Tech Wiz. Devon led technology and service delivery while his partner led sales and marketing. The healthcare-focused managed services business supported more than 1,000 users across Montana and North Dakota. Devon sold his ownership to his partner in December 2025.

Services included help desk and managed IT, HIPAA and virtual CISO services, Microsoft 365, strategic planning, backup and recovery, networking, and cloud hosting.
